When is check-in and check-out?
Check-in on the day of arrival is possible from 3 pm to 9 pm. If you plan to arrive later, please inform us. Check-out on the day of departure is by 11 am.
How long is the reception desk staffed?
Our small reception desk is staffed from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Afterwards, you have access to the Münsterhus, your room, and our lounge at any time via your chip card to enjoy the day.
Are there parking spaces?
Yes, we have parking spaces in an underground garage right next to the hotel.
The parking spaces are accessible to the public at all times. You can enter and exit at any time using a small remote control.
Is it possible to charge an electric car?
Yes, there are two electric vehicle charging stations in the underground parking garage. Furthermore, there is a 400 kW charger located nearby in the town.
Can I arrive by public transport?
Yes, Schruns is connected to the public rail network. The train station is approximately 100m from the Münsterhus.
How can I pay the bill?
To ensure your stay is as straightforward as possible, we offer various prepayment options:
Cash
Credit cards: We accept Visa and Mastercard
Debit/Maestro card: Contactless and PIN-based payments are accepted.
Bank transfer: For prepayment or deposit.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately not, as the house is partially listed as a historical monument, pets are not allowed.
Is there Wi-Fi in the house?
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Simply log in with “Münsterhus Gast” and enter the password.
Is there a ski storage room?
Yes, we have a small ski room right next to our Münsterhus, which can also be used for the safe storage of bicycles in the summer.
When is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 10:30 am.
What's the fastest way to get to the ski lift?
The valley station of the Hochjochbahn cable car is just a few minutes’ walk from the Münsterhus. The easiest and quickest way to reach the valley station is on foot.
Is there a pharmacy nearby?
Yes, the nearest pharmacy is 50 meters from the house in the pedestrian zone of Schruns.
Is it possible to rent e-bikes?
Yes, there is a large Intersport branch with bicycle rental and repair service 50 m away.
Are there any restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner?
Yes, there are several different restaurants we’d be happy to recommend.

If I, as a guest of the Münsterhaus, would like to meet acquaintances or arrange meetings or similar occasions, is that allowed in the house?
Of course, our lounge on the ground floor is a welcoming place to relax and chat. Feel free to help yourself to drinks from the refrigerator or wine from our wine cooler. A logbook is available for you to record your purchases. The bill will be settled upon check-out.
Coffee and tea are available free of charge all day.
Is it possible to book a spa day nearby?
Yes, there are three large hotels with spa facilities in the immediate vicinity.
We’d be happy to assist you with your booking. Right across the street, at the Hotel Taube, Münsterhus guests even receive a discount.
What is the Berge PLUS program?
Whether mountain biking, climbing, or hiking, the daily changing BergePLUS program is available to you free of charge as a guest of Münsterhus, and discounts are also available for various activities. Further information can be found on our BergePLUS button on our homepage.
Are the rooms cleaned daily?
Yes, unless you don’t want to, in which case you can indicate this with a tag on the room door.
Is there an elevator in Münsterhaus?
No.
Can I also sit in the garden or outside at Münsterhus?
Yes, every room always has a reserved table in our courtyard directly on the Schruns church square.
Are there any tips for hikes, excursions, ski tours, climbing tours, or similar activities?
Your host Josef will be happy to advise you personally on various activities in the valley.
You can also find tips for different mountain adventures on the website.
If I want to do a challenging mountain climb, is it possible to book a trustworthy mountain guide?
Yes, as an experienced alpine sportsman, Josef is happy to assist with the planning and help in finding a mountain guide.
Is the house wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately not, the building dates back to the 17th century and has been extensively renovated, but there is no elevator.
Can hikes be started directly from the Münsterhus?
Yes, you can start directly on foot or take a hiking bus.
The bus stop is just a few meters from the Münsterhus.
